Intinerary
Visit the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site and a folk village in the exciting capital city of Seoul. The semi-tropical island of Jeju is volcanic and very picturesque with crater lakes, waterfalls and parks. The added attraction is the duty-free shopping here.
Day 1: Seoul On arrival you transfer to your hotel. The evening is at your leisure.
Day 2: Jeju Island Today take a short flight to Jeju Island. Start the day with a drive along the Road of Mystery; explore the Museum of Natural History and the island’s stunning scenery including the cliffs of Suwolbong Peak. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3: Jeju Island Continue to explore Jeju with visits to Youngduam Rock, Bunjae Artpia, the world’s largest bonsai arboretum, the Sanbanggulsa rock cave and the picturesque Cheonjaeyeon Waterfall. The evening is free to enjoy duty – free shopping as well as the exciting nightlife of the island.
Day 4: Seoul In the morning, visit Seongsang
Ilchulbong before taking your flight back to Seoul. Visit the Blue House, Gyeongbok Palace and the Korean National Museum before reaching your hotel. Overnight in Seoul.
Day 5: Seoul – Yongin – Suwon – Seoul (64 kilometres) After breakfast, head to Yongin National Folk Village, a living museum of Korean heritage. Later on, visit the imposing Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Explore traditional Insadong and its antique stores and the exotic Namdaemun Gate market before enjoying some shopping in Seoul’s famous Itaewon area. Overnight in Seoul.
Day 6: Seoul Spend the day at leisure; indulge in shopping or entertainment before transferring to the airport for your onward flight.
