Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrive in Phnom Penh. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Phnom Penh Tour this charming city and visit many of its heritage sites including the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, made up of 5,000 silver tiles and home to a solid gold Buddha encrusted with 9,584 diamonds. Continue to the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields, for a profoundly moving experience of the history of this amiable country.
Day 3: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap Transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for your flight to Siem Reap. On arrival, join a boat trip to the floating village at Kampong Phluk built within the floodplain of the Tonle Sap. Later, enjoy a traditional dinner with a Khmer dance show.
Day 4: Siem Reap: Angkor Wat Journey through the ruins of Angkor Wat before heading to Ta Prohm, the temple that has been left largely in its natural state. Don’t miss a visit to the monumental magnificence of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmers.
Day 5: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh This morning, learn the art of Khmer cooking – start with a visit to the local market and end with a sumptuous lunch. Transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Phnom Penh.
